Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
You will find our representatives there at the Airport, ready to greet you when you land at the International Airport in Kathmandu. They will receive you with your name and take you to the hotel where you will be briefly explained about the itinerary package. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
On the second day, you will be taken out for an excursion to some of the chief sites in and around Kathmandu. Visits include temples of Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath and Bauddhanath and Durbar squares of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur, all enlisted in the UNESCO world heritage sites.
Day 3: Drive to Chautara, trek to Syaule (1418m)
25km far from Kathmandu lies Chautara- a large village inhabited chiefly by Tamang ethnic people and the headquarters of Sindhupalchowk district. After dropping off at Chautara, we will ascend the hill and pass through hill villages to reach Syaule.
Day 04: Trek to Kamikharka Danda
Today, we will follow the trail up to reach Okrin Danda(2300m). We will then climb further up and pass through campsites and forest to a grassy area encircled by forest. We will pitch our camp here in Kami Danda for the night.
Day 4: Trek to Chyochyo Danda
We will pass the oak and rhododendron forest to reach the ridge crest. Ascending further up, we will arrive to a large Chorten at 3160m from where we will cross the pasture land across the western slope of Chyochyo Danda. We will
Day 5: Trek to Hile Bhanjyang
On the 6th day, we will climb up the rocky path that leads to green pasture. We will then cross the ridge, drop down to forest and cross the gullies with water to reach another crest at Chang Samarphu (3913m). From this crest, we will descend to Hile Bhanjyang where we will stay overnight.
Day 6: Trek to Nasem Pati
Early in the morning, we will climb up the steep hill at 3980m and cross the open ground to reach another crest. A little far from here is a stone house which locates itself above Nasem Pati (3800m). We will lower down to Nasem Pati where we will stay overnight.
Day 7: Trek to Panch Pokhari
It takes 4hrs of climbing to reach Panch Pokhari (4050m) which literally means five holy lakes. Every year in the full moon of June/July, thousands of worshippers arrive here for worshipping. There are two cast iron roofed huts in Panch Pokari. We will camp here overnight.
Day 8: Trek to Gai Kharka
From Panch Pokhari, we will return to Nasem Pati and then lower down westwards. We will cross several ravines before reaching to a meadow with green lush vegetation which is named as Gai Kharka. We will stay overnight in Gai Kharka (2530m).
Day 9: Trek to Yangri
Today we will lower down the hill and pass through forest. Later we will cross two major watercourses to arrive to Yarsa Village. We will descend further to bridge over Panch Pokhari Khola and from there we will ascend to Hutanbrang and lower down to Larke khola. A little further is Yangri Village where we will stay in a camp overnight.
Day 10: Trek to Laghang Gompa
Today’s course takes us to bridges over Larke and Yangri Rivers. We will cross the bridge to reach Yangri Village. We will climb further up through forests, hillsides and fields to reach to the village which lies amid Dalegaon and Gangkharka which is known as Gangdwang. From Gangkharka, the route climbs up to Laghang Gompa (2800m) where we will stay overnight.
Day 11: Trek to Tarke Gyang
The route ascends through forest and pasture lands which take us to area with stone houses, scrub hills and cow trails. From here, we will steeply lower down through rough and eroded route to Tarke Gyang. The total distance from Laghang to Tarke Gyang takes 3hrs to complete. We will stay overnight in Tarke Gyang.
Day 12: Drive back to Kathmandu
This day we will conclude our journey and return back to hotel in Kathmandu where we will stay overnight. Cultural show will be organized in the evening in your honor in the evening. We will dine as we watch the cultural show.
Day 13: Final Departure from Kathmandu
It’s the day to say goodbye. Our representative will assist you in last moment preparation and will drive you back to Airport from where you will return to your beloved ones. We hope to see you again. Farewell!!
