October to March is generally the best season to visit Bardiya as the climate is more suitable for outdoor activities and exploring the wildlife. Once the monsoon has ended, the climate turns drier and the walk, jeep and birding experiences in the jungle are far better. Cooler temperatures can happen in December and January, particularly early and late in the day, and warmer weather occurs in March. Summer season (Jun-Aug-Sep) is the monsoon period with more rainfall; this can impact travel and some outside activities.
