​Phoksundo Lake trek is a lovely and rewarding trek in a remote part of Dolpo in western part of Nepal. The trek passes through quiet forests and traditional villages, through rivers, waterfalls and winding through beautiful mountain scenery to the pristine turquoise Phoksundo Lake. Trek goes through a less touristy part of the Himalayas, with Dolpo being a remote area in the state of Nepal.

The trip starts in Kathmandu and then you fly to Nepalgunj, and after a scenic flight to Juphal. Then the trekking aspect of the journey starts from Juphal where you walk through the small villages and the trails lead towards the small villages of Dunai, Chhepka and so on.
